Bharat Agro Industries was founded in 1998 as one of the business enterprises of the Maheshwari Family, who realised early on the enormous potential and business opportunity that Cassia had to offer.
We started out by exporting undehusked splits to developed markets where Cassia Gum had already been indentified for its application in the processed food, textile and oil-well drilling industries. By absorbing new technology and bettering our processes at every level of operations, we moved up the value-chain from undehusked Cassia splits to dehusked Cassia splits to Cassia Gum powder.
Our current product range includes Cassia Gum, Cassia Tora, Gum Ghatti, Gum Karaya, Tamarind Kernel Powder, Psyllium Husk and other natural products. These products, produced using state of the art technology, are exported to over 30 countries worldwide. We have manufacturing facilities in Barmer, Sanchore and Raipur with raw materials sourced across India.

Having immense expertise in processing of cassia gum, we have initiated Tanmay Vegetable Gum Works Private Limited for working on compatible food grade Cassia gum, stabilizer system for ice cream, sorbets, dairy, spreads and ketchups and system blends for meat processing and wet petfood products.
